Field note

A white farmhouse, a weathered barn, a line of cedars holding the wind off the meadow. The barn was rebuilt as a single light-filled studio: sprung floor, blackout capability, sound treated for a circle of sixteen or a single voice.

Restored 1890s dairy farmhouse; barn studio rebuilt 2019. Walked and recorded in person, May 2026 — measured, judged, and paired with a support team before it earned a number.
